Conference Weekend

I love conference! We have had the blessing of living so close to Salt Lake that we have been able to attend conference several times in the past few years. There is nothing like being in the same room as apostles of God! However, this year, we decided to just spend conference with all our family down in Utah. Being in the same room with these people is pretty awesome too!

We started the trip off by attending Jeremy's mission reunion in North Salt Lake. I know these things can be kind of weird, but I absolutely love them! Jeremy's mission president and mission mom are two of my favorite people in the world. I tell Jeremy all the time that I want to be just like them when we grow up. They are amazing and totally make me feel a part of the mission. President Hale says that the only way you can be a part of the Ft. Lauderdale Mission without having served in the mission is by being sealed in. I am one of those lucky few!
This is actually on our way home. Jeremy wouldn't have gone unshaven. But this shows the cute name badges that we got to wear. :)

Ben and Clark, two of Jeremy's mission companions that go to BYU-I, drove down with us.

After the mission reunion, we stayed at Micheal and Anna's house. Saturday we had breakfast at Brad and Joanali's house and watched the morning session there. I was busy keeping the kids entertained and focused on conference. I never realized how hard that can be!

Afterward we headed over to Bob and Amy's and stayed the rest of the weekend with them. While the boys were at priesthood session Amy and I tried out a new recipe that I found on Pinterest. Doughnuts out of biscuits from a can! They were awesome! Definitely a tradition from here on out!

We had a great visit and can't wait for October to do it again. I love being so close to so much family and will miss that the most when we move. Thanks guys for such a fun time!
