Grandma and Grandpa are in Town!

The long awaited visit from Grandma and Grandpa Evans finally arrived just as Jeremy was finishing school for the semester. We couldn't wait for them to come!
We didn't even get past the first day before we had them open their Christmas present...a photobook from our Florida trip. That's about all we had time for the first night they were here but  we had some fun things planned for the next day.
First we wanted to take them on a tour of campus We hit up Jeremy's buildings, the clock tower, the football field, and the well. We walked a ton but still didn't even see an eighth of the campus. This place is huge!
Leila loved seeing where Daddy goes everyday and even got a little therapy done.

The Well
The next day we planned a trip to Raleigh. We hit up the Natural History Museum and then were pleasantly surprised when the Governors Mansion was open for tours.

Jeremy says he wants to have a cow one day...Leila thinks it's a great idea.
We got a little carried away with posing as a soldier...
Greetings from North Carolina! Perfect Christmas card!

Mom and Dad volunteered to watch Leila so we could go on a date. So grateful!!
Of course we didn't miss the Kansas vs Carolina game on TV. We had a fun game day party and we all dressed up. Leila was all about it!
Carolina Family!
I had to throw this picture in....Jeremy and I were adamant about Mom and Dad sleeping in our bed so we could have the air mattress. Of course Mom and Dad we adamant that we sleep in our bed so they could sleep on the air mattress. Since Dad and I are both so stubborn no one would give in. Which only left one option...rock, paper, scissors. Love this!
On Mom and Dad's last day we decided to check out Duke Gardens before heading to Raleigh to take them to the airport. I have to admit...it is beautiful!
We had such a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa! Couldn't be more grateful that they came all the way out here and can't wait for them to come back!
